This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Responsible for managing the processing of Reverse mortgage loans.
• Act as the intermediary between clients and Loan Officers throughout the closing process.
• Assist eligible applicants in obtaining loans efficiently and professionally while complying with all company guidelines, as well as federal and state regulations.
• Ensure the accurate entry of information into the Loan Origination System (LOS) and update details as needed throughout the process.
• Verify that all rates and fees entered into the system are correct.
• Obtain necessary verifications of income, employment, and assets as required.
• Serve as the primary contact to guide clients and Loan Officers through the loan processing in preparation for closing.
• Review all underwriting conditions required from the borrower.
• Collect all necessary documentation for the loan closing.
• Ensure that the information in the Loan Origination System aligns with the document data.
• Confirm that all fees are updated and accurately documented for both the Initial Disclosures and Final Loan Documents.
• Properly document all Change of Circumstances.
• Review and ensure that all conditions and documents required prior to closing are prepared, signed off, and filed appropriately.
• Act as the main point of contact for sales, underwriting, funding, title companies, brokers, and/or clients.
• Maintain clear, consistent, and professional communication lines among all parties involved in the process.
• Regularly review and update the loan pipeline.
• Ensure that loan packages comply with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain acceptable conversion ratios in line with the position requirements.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Loan Processing.
• Previous experience with automated Loan Origination Systems and within the mortgage industry.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
