This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Accountable for comprehending payroll processing requirements for designated entities.
• Administers biweekly and semimonthly payroll.
• Provides follow-up communication via phone or email when discrepancies or omissions in data arise.
• Upholds client trust by protecting sensitive information and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
• Manages adjustments, voids, reissues, and ACH uploads.
• Handles off-cycle payroll processing.
• Oversees the printing, packaging, and distribution of checks and advice slips.
• Extracts and imports data from various programs.
• Processes garnishments, tax levies, court orders, and similar items.
• Investigates and resolves payroll-related issues.
• Coordinates payroll audits or reviews to verify pay accuracy and identify possible errors.
• Assists in gathering information for special reports and in preparing additional documents and correspondence.
• A high school diploma is required, along with two years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with accounting and payroll concepts is expected.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to analyze information, a keen attention to detail, and the initiative to follow up on transactions and make informed decisions.
• Proficient research and analytical skills.
• Must have solid skills in email, Internet, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Advanced Excel skills are crucial for this role.
• Exceptional mathematical and calculation abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
• Ability to multitask efficiently.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
