This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct a range of process safety evaluations, assessments, or reviews for equipment, processes, or procedures at client facilities or remotely.

• Execute process safety assessments and evaluations in accordance with OSHA and PSM standards.

• Analyze and implement best practices and regulatory requirements from various standards and codes (NFPA, Building & Fire Codes, OSHA, FM Global, etc.).

• Maintain timely, effective, and ongoing communication with clients and the consulting team.

• Pursue new business opportunities and prepare quotes for potential clients.

• Collaborate on team projects as well as work independently on assignments or tasks.

• Generate technical reports as necessary.

• Conduct technical reviews for peers, which may include marketing documents, presentations, reports, and more.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Fire Protection) or another safety-related discipline.

• EIT or a safety-related certification is preferred (CSP, CFEI, CCPSC, PE, etc.).

• At least 5 years of experience in the field of process safety.

• Experience with Combustible Dust, Flammable, and/or other Hazardous Materials is preferred.

• Strong background and expertise in safety-related areas (PSM, RMP, combustible dust, chemical reaction hazards, flammable liquids/gases, etc.).

• In-depth knowledge of pertinent safety standards and regulations (NFPA, Building & Fire Codes, OSHA, etc.).

• Ability to perform well under pressure in a team-oriented environment.

• Capable of delivering reports and analytical documents within strict deadlines.
