This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The Process Safety Specialist delivers technical services and guidance to enhance Process Safety improvement initiatives on a global scale, primarily focusing on North America.
• Responsible for recommending effective risk-reduction strategies and aiding clients in understanding and implementing technical information.
• Primarily tasked with conducting various process safety assessments, reviews, or evaluations for equipment, processes, or procedures at client facilities or remotely.
• Engage in team projects and work independently on specific projects or tasks as needed.
• Prepare technical reports as necessary.
• Conduct technical reviews for colleagues, which may encompass marketing papers, presentations, reports, and more.
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Fire Protection) or another safety-related field.
• EIT or a safety-related designation is preferred (CSP, CFEI, CCPSC, PE, etc.).
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the domain of process safety.
• Familiarity with Combustible Dust, Flammable, and/or other Hazardous Materials is desirable.
• Experience and comprehensive knowledge in safety-related areas (PSM, RMP, combustible dust, chemical reaction hazards, flammable liquids/gases, etc.).
• Strong understanding of relevant safety standards and regulations (NFPA, Building & Fire Codes, OSHA, etc.).
• Excellent personal communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to perform well under pressure in a team setting.
• Must be able to deliver reports and analytical documents within strict deadlines.
