This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Deliver education and technical assistance for the development and enhancement of existing PSM (Process Safety Management) programs related to ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Create written PSM programs, policies, and procedures (SOPs) that align with regulatory and industry standards to aid in customer PSM program development.
• Perform compliance audits and lead Process Hazard Analysis for customer facilities, compile audit/PHA reports, and suggest necessary actions to rectify any deficiencies identified during audits/PHA.
• Offer technical assistance to both customer users and internal company users of the PSM software system, providing support from login help to aiding in information retrieval within the software.
• Execute data migration of customer-provided information by systematically uploading it into the PSM software system.
• Monitor the location of uploaded data and pinpoint gaps in the information supplied by the customer.
• Create and document PSM standard operating procedures and additional PSM program procedures/guidelines as directed.
• Facilitate and provide PSM-related and ammonia awareness training for customers.
• Serve as a technical expert for the company, assisting both internal and external customers regarding Process Safety Management for ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Collaborate with the Director of PSM Services to engage with customers through proposals, meetings, and presentations to comprehend and define their needs.
• Understand and address customer inquiries, both verbal and written.
• Coordinate and assist in compiling process safety information for customer refrigeration systems as required based on project scope.
• Support drafters in updating system P&ID.
• Direct and manage project activities to ensure progress remains on schedule and within budget.
• Hold overall responsibility for coordinating the preparation of all project documentation.
• Required to respond to multiple assigned customers while fostering strong customer relationships.
• Assist the Director of PSM Services in promoting PSM services through external communication channels.
• Support and uphold a Lean work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction, occupational safety, project management, or engineering, or extensive experience in Ammonia Refrigeration.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the refrigeration industry within commercial/industrial markets; PSM experience is preferred.
• Capability to understand and analyze mechanical and refrigeration systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to draft letters and proposals.
• Excellent customer relations abilities.
• Proficient computer skills and a solid understanding of Microsoft Office components.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with strong organizational skills.
• Physical capability to access job sites, including some climbing.
• Familiarity with and ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
