Private Equity AI Research Contributor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop realistic Excel tasks based on experiences in private equity or growth equity.

• Enhance existing models, repair malfunctioning models, and construct new models from a brief.

• Methodically work through each task to arrive at a clear and accurate solution.

• Formulate precise yes-or-no criteria for evaluating attempts.

• Participate in a 30-minute group walkthrough call.

• Design and submit an original task, along with the brief and necessary input workbooks.

• Collaborate with reviewers to create a comprehensive yes-or-no rubric after testing tasks against leading AI models.

• Create evaluation and training environments that enable AI agents to generate professional-quality work.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience in private equity or growth equity (buyout, growth, or special situations), with either a sector specialization or generalist deal coverage.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Excel, including LBOs, debt schedules, return sensitivities, Goal Seek, and circular references.

• Excellent written communication skills in English.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Eagerness to learn about AI concepts and evaluations.

• Must create an original task based on personal work during the onboarding process.

• Requirement to submit the brief and human-generated input workbooks; uploading input files is mandatory.

• No AI assistance permitted when drafting the brief and creating input workbooks.

• Utilize sanitized real data or publicly available data, with the source properly cited.

• Engagement as an independent contractor.
