Privacy Operations Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of comprehensive program management across essential privacy initiatives such as data subject requests (DSRs), privacy impact assessments (PIAs and DPIAs), records of processing activities (ROPA), transfer impact assessments (TIAs), and cookie compliance. This includes making daily operational decisions, enforcing processes to ensure compliance with regulations, and measuring adherence at scale.

• Identify and execute process enhancements, including the use of AI tools to automate routine activities, developing structured workflows to maintain quality standards, and ensuring accurate, auditable program records such as playbooks and process documentation.

• Develop and sustain clear, auditable privacy documentation, including privacy assessments, program playbooks, and customer response libraries to deliver scalable and consistent privacy operational support.

• Collaborate with Privacy Legal and Privacy Engineering teams to address user requests, enhance knowledge on global privacy and data protection requirements, and escalate unique or complex requests with the necessary context and documentation.

• Participate in the team's weekly runner model as the main point of contact for incoming privacy requests, managing routing across intake channels and overseeing Jira run tickets.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in privacy program management, with a documented history of operationalizing and scaling cross-functional organization-wide programs from inception.

• Strong collaboration, communication, and relationship-building abilities, coupled with the skill to articulate complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences.

• Proven experience with privacy laws such as GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, and PIPEDA. Familiarity with US state legislation, HIPAA, and GLBA is advantageous.

• Practical experience with privacy impact assessments (PIAs and DPIAs), workflows for data subject requests, records of processing activities (ROPA), or other essential privacy program operations.

• Proficient in analyzing intricate problems to pinpoint root causes and trends, and capable of documenting complex narratives in a straightforward manner that can be utilized by others.

• A curious and self-driven individual with a strong inclination towards vision setting, strategic problem-solving, and achieving results.

• Experienced in managing multiple projects in a dynamic, high-growth environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities.
