Prior Authorization Specialist I – Lumicera

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho.

📋 Description

• Accountable for handling inbound calls from patients, healthcare providers, and prescribers.

• Tasked with reaching out to physicians to gather essential information.

• Responsible for overseeing the assigned workflow queues effectively.

• Ensures precise and comprehensive documentation of information and the setup of prescription orders.

• The Employee will adhere to all relevant federal and state regulations while upholding the highest ethical standards that we consistently aim to achieve.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is required.

• Some college education is preferred.

• A CPhT Preferred Pharmacy Technician license or a Pharmacy Technician Trainee license is highly desired in states requiring licensure.

• A minimum of two years of experience in pharmacy support or a healthcare environment is preferred.

• Must be available to work scheduled hours, with shifts subject to change based on departmental needs.
