Principal Treasury Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +22 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop, manage, and enhance cash forecasting capabilities for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina and its subsidiaries.

• Lead the creation, upkeep, and improvement of short-term, medium-term, and long-term cash flow forecasts.

• Analyze historical and projected cash trends to identify key drivers, risks, opportunities, and emerging patterns.

• Communicate trends, forecast drivers, risks, and opportunities to Senior Management and the Board.

• Collaborate with Finance, Treasury Operations, Actuarial, Investments, and other business leaders to gather forecast assumptions and enhance forecast accuracy.

• Optimize surplus cash and maximize returns in alignment with company investment policies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (if required), or 10+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

• 8+ years of experience in a related field.

• Currently, Blue Cross NC will not sponsor employment authorization for this position.

• Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), CPA, or CFA certification or pursuit is a plus.

• Experience in cash management and cash flow forecasting is highly preferred.

• Expertise in Treasury Management Systems (Kyriba, etc.) is highly preferred.

• Proficient in data analytics and reporting.

• Experience with Power BI or Tableau.

• Background in financial automation and process improvement.

• Advanced Excel skills (including pivot tables, Power Query, and complex financial models).

• Experience managing cash flow cycles specific to healthcare.

• Understanding of the healthcare industry.
