This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain role-specific Epic Ambulatory training programs for providers, clinical personnel, and operational end users.
• Update existing training resources as necessary, including lesson plans, participant handbooks, tip sheets, quick reference guides, simulations, and teaching materials.
• Ensure that training content is aligned with current workflows, system improvements, regulatory standards, and organizational guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with Epic application teams and operational stakeholders to integrate workflow and system updates into training initiatives.
• Assist with credentialing tasks and prepare training readiness before classroom instruction.
• Act as the lead instructor for large-scale Epic end-user training sessions during the in-person classroom training phase.
• Conduct instructor-led classroom training, virtual learning sessions, and individual training for providers, clinical teams, and operational users.
• Provide hands-on, workflow-centric training that equips end users for effective system adoption and readiness for go-live.
• Offer continuous coaching and support to physicians, nurses, clinic staff, and operational teams.
• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot Epic training environments to facilitate classroom activities and workflow simulations.
• Engage in Epic implementation, optimization, and upgrade projects.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Education, Business, or a related discipline; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Current Epic Ambulatory Certification.
• Multiple Epic application certifications with proven cross-application expertise.
• At least three (3) years of experience in Epic training, healthcare information systems, clinical operations, or adult education.
• Experience in delivering instructor-led training for Epic implementations, upgrades, or optimization efforts.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, communication, and learner engagement abilities.
• Willingness to travel and work onsite during the 8-week classroom training period from late August through October.
• Proven capability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic healthcare setting.
