This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Act as the primary trainer and educational resource for Epic Grand Central and Cadence applications.
• Create, develop, maintain, and revise role-based training curricula, lesson plans, eLearning materials, quick reference guides, simulations, and training resources.
• Establish and uphold Epic training environments to ensure consistency with production and testing environments.
• Conduct instructor-led, virtual, and individualized training sessions for end users, super users, providers, and operational leaders.
• Collaborate with application analysts and operational stakeholders to comprehend workflow design and convert system functionality into impactful training programs.
• Formulate training plans and educational strategies for Epic implementations, upgrades, optimizations, and deployments of new functionalities.
• Facilitate train-the-trainer programs and evaluate trainer readiness and competency.
• Develop and administer competency assessments, proficiency tests, and credentialing activities.
• Engage in workflow validation, integrated testing, dress rehearsals, and go-live readiness tasks.
• Assist with organizational change management and adoption efforts by identifying educational needs and delivering targeted training solutions.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and continually enhance curricula based on user feedback, operational metrics, and system improvements.
• Provide post-training support, coaching, and remediation to users who require additional assistance.
• Collaborate with project leadership to estimate training requirements, resource needs, and deployment timelines.
• Maintain training documentation, policies, procedures, and educational standards.
• Ensure all training materials are up-to-date with current Epic workflows, organizational standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in go-live support activities and offer at-the-elbow assistance as necessary.
• Mentor and assist additional trainers and instructional staff.
• Execute other duties as assigned.
• In-depth knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Strong grasp of healthcare scheduling, registration, admissions, discharge, transfer, and bed management workflows.
• Ability to create interactive classroom, virtual, and self-paced learning experiences.
• Proficiency in curriculum development, training documentation, and competency validation.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines in a dynamic healthcare environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional collaboration and relationship-building abilities.
• Aptitude for translating complex technical concepts into accessible educational content.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, learning management systems, and eLearning development tools.
