This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
β’ Oversee and conduct thorough technology due diligence evaluations for mergers and acquisitions.
β’ Act as the main liaison for private equity clients and deal teams, providing strategic insights and recommendations.
β’ Collaborate closely with private equity partners to assess the role of technology in post-merger integration.
β’ Identify potential risks, such as cybersecurity threats and software scalability challenges.
β’ Keep abreast of the latest trends and innovations in enterprise technology, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation.
β’ Assist in business development efforts by contributing to thought leadership and participating in client presentations.
β’ Consistently identify and implement enhancements to the delivery process and associated materials.
β’ Mentor and coach junior team members, promoting a culture of ongoing learning.
β’ A minimum of 7 years of experience in technology due diligence, M&A advisory, private equity consulting, or similar roles, with a strong emphasis on technology assessments for transactions.
β’ Profound knowledge of enterprise IT systems, software architecture, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital transformation strategies, especially related to M&A.
β’ Capability to swiftly analyze complex, multi-faceted technology issues and present their significance and implications to non-technical audiences.
β’ Strong written and verbal communication skills with a proven track record of engaging with senior-level private equity stakeholders.
β’ Preferred experience with Infrastructure, Custom Software, Cybersecurity, Data, and M&A Expertise.
β’ Exceptional client relationship management abilities, including the skill to convey intricate technical concepts clearly and effectively.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred).
