Principal Technical Product Owner – DoiT Partner Platform

Posted May 20

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Serve as the leading authority on the DoiT Partner Platform, acting as the "tip of the spear" and guiding alignment across various product teams while establishing benchmarks for product excellence.

• Take ownership of the comprehensive strategy, delivery, iteration, and learning speed for significant components of the platform.

• Collaborate with VP-level executives to outline strategic objectives, translating them into specific challenges to address and actionable scopes.

• Lead and mentor fellow Technical Product Owners to enhance product management practices, ensuring seamless execution throughout the entire platform portfolio.

• Facilitate the feedback cycle among teams: discover → define → build → release → measure → iterate, continuously.

• Evaluate technical designs, analyze complex trade-offs and constraints, and comprehend their effects on delivery timelines and system performance, without being the primary executor.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over a decade of substantial product leadership experience within the cloud ecosystem, preferably with roles in cloud operations, FinOps, partner operations, or in developing platforms for cloud customers or partners.

• Demonstrated capability to function as a "player-coach"—steering high-level strategies while actively collaborating with engineering and guiding other product owners as a respected peer leader.

• Significant experience with cloud billing systems, cost and usage analytics, or revenue operations in cloud settings.

• Profound knowledge of the cloud partner ecosystem (including resellers, MSPs, SIs, distributors, and marketplaces). Candidates are likely to have engaged within the partner ecosystem at various points in their careers.

• Experience in constructing or managing platforms that support channel or partner-driven business models.

• Strong product insight to transform complex operational challenges into clear scopes and delivered value, ensuring an excellent user experience.

• Technical proficiency in cloud fundamentals and APIs across AWS, Google Cloud, and/or Azure.

• Coding experience is advantageous—sufficient to collaborate effectively with engineers, assess feasibility, and understand system behaviors.

• Proven track record of utilizing AI to enhance product specifications and development processes.

• Exceptional communication skills: capable of engaging deeply with partners, cloud specialists, and internal stakeholders at the executive level.
