Principal Technical Manufacturing Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Act as the technical architect and subject matter expert for INFICON FPS Digital Twin to create a Smart factory and visualize as well as simulate real-time factory conditions.

• Lead the design and implementation of ETL architecture and execution from MES (PROMIS), equipment management systems such as XSite, and manufacturing databases into the FPS Data Warehouse.

• Ensure data integrity, availability, and performance metrics are met.

• Assist with application upgrades and optimize system performance.

• Troubleshoot and resolve intricate system challenges.

• Implement, configure, and provide support for the PROMIS Manufacturing Execution System within a semiconductor fabrication environment.

• Serve as a technical partner to IT stakeholders, Manufacturing Operations Managers, Engineers, and Equipment Engineers.

• Foster automation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across manufacturing systems and reporting platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing systems and factory automation, possessing senior architect and technical responsibilities.

• At least 15 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 12 years with a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 8 years of experience; or equivalent qualifications.

• Practical experience with INFICON FPS Digital Twin, factory scheduling systems, and manufacturing reporting platforms.

• Strong proficiency in ETL processes and data integration from MES, XSite, and other manufacturing databases into data warehouses.

• Extensive knowledge in implementing PROMIS MES, including flows, steps, branching, routing logic, and configuring system parameters, workflows, and user interfaces.

• Experience in supporting equipment maintenance management systems.

• Ability to troubleshoot complex system challenges in high-availability fabrication environments.

• Proficient in database management and SQL.
