Principal Technical Consultant, Network Security Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete architecture of enterprise network and security solutions spanning data center, campus, WAN, and cloud environments.

• Create scalable and resilient architectures utilizing:

• Cisco networking

• Palo Alto Networks firewalls (PA-Series, Panorama, HA architectures)

• Palo Alto Prisma Access and Prisma SASE

• Palo Alto SD-WAN

• Develop both high-level and low-level designs, migration strategies, and implementation frameworks.

• Assess new technologies and offer strategic insights to leadership.

• Act as the primary architectural lead during customer workshops, whiteboard discussions, and executive briefings.

• Simplify complex technical concepts into clear, business-aligned narratives.

• Establish trusted advisor relationships with customer stakeholders at all organizational levels.

• Provide expert-level assistance during deployment, configuration, and cutover processes.

• Mentor engineering teams and uphold architectural integrity throughout project execution.

• Design and integrate secure network architectures for Azure and AWS, which include:

• VNET/VPC design

• Cloud firewalls and security groups

• Transit gateways and cloud routing

• Hybrid connectivity (IPSec, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect)

• Align cloud network security with enterprise security frameworks and zero-trust principles.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in enterprise networking and network security.

• Expert-level knowledge in:

• Cisco routing, switching, and data center technologies

• Palo Alto Networks firewalls, Panorama, HA, and advanced security features

• Palo Alto Prisma Access and SD-WAN

• Strong understanding of:

• BGP, OSPF, EVPN/VXLAN, MPLS, QoS, segmentation

• Zero Trust, threat prevention, SSL decryption, URL filtering, WildFire

• Solid working knowledge of networking and security constructs in Azure and AWS.

• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities—capable of leading a group of customers with confidence.

• Demonstrated experience mentoring engineers and guiding cross-functional teams.

• Certifications (Preferred but not mandatory):

• CCNP/CCIE (Routing & Switching, Security, or Data Center)

• Palo Alto PCNSE

• AWS Solutions Architect or Azure Architect certifications
