Principal Technical Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop, size, and validate scalable, enterprise-level solution architectures tailored to business requirements and objectives.

• Design agentic systems utilizing Agent Workbench and Agentic Enterprise Orchestration, incorporating guardrails, agent evaluations, and orchestration methodologies.

• Convert business needs into functional, maintainable applications and agents leveraging the OutSystems platform.

• Establish and evaluate architecture patterns that encourage reusability, lifecycle independence, and reduced maintenance expenses.

• Examine existing applications for performance, architectural integrity, and development quality.

• Recommend enhancements, including modernization strategies for legacy systems.

• Recognize non-functional requirements, integration necessities, and standardized practices across application and agent portfolios.

• Guide OutSystems, customer, and partner teams on architectural and development best practices.

• Enhance the Professional Services team's technical expertise through technical practices, reference architectures, and speaking opportunities.

• Act as a trusted technical advisor, taking ownership of solution architecture and establishing quality standards for engagements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• A decade of experience in software development, including hands-on involvement in web or mobile application development.

• Four years in architecture or technical leadership positions, demonstrating the application of architectural patterns in enterprise-level projects.

• Proficient understanding of architecture design, project delivery methodologies, and application performance optimization.

• Capable of identifying, assessing, and resolving performance bottlenecks.

• Willingness to travel up to 20% to assist customer engagements.

• Hands-on experience in designing AI solutions is highly preferred, including LLM-based applications and agentic frameworks and protocols such as MCP, RAG, or model orchestration on platforms like Amazon Bedrock.

• Preferred software development experience in .NET, C#, SQL, and contemporary web technologies.

• Exceptional communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills.

• U.S. Citizenship is a strict requirement.

• Must be able to secure and maintain an active U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance.

• Must be willing to undergo a comprehensive federal background investigation (SF-86).
