Principal Technical Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the architecture, design, and governance of intricate multi-solution Blue Yonder implementations.

• Establish and regulate enterprise integration patterns, API strategies, master data frameworks, and event-driven architectures.

• Deliver technical leadership throughout implementation lifecycles by conducting architecture reviews, managing technical risks, enforcing standards, and ensuring compliance with operational readiness, performance, security, and observability requirements.

• Shape the perspectives of customers and Blue Yonder leadership by translating complex technical concepts into business outcomes and steering strategic technology decisions.

• Spot opportunities to utilize AI, Generative AI, Agentic AI, Machine Learning, Intelligent Automation, and robotics.

• Guide architects and consultants, contribute to reusable delivery assets and accelerators, support recruitment and talent development initiatives, and elevate architectural standards.

• Collaborate with Product Management and Product Development teams to identify market demands, share implementation insights, influence product evolution, and enhance customer outcomes.

• Engage with executives, customer leadership, consulting teams, product management, engineering organizations, and delivery organizations on complex enterprise transformation initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in enterprise software, supply chain technology, consulting, or related fields.

• Proven track record in leading architecture for large-scale enterprise transformation programs involving multiple integrated platforms.

• Experience in roles such as Principal Architect, Enterprise Architect, Chief Architect, or other equivalent senior technical leadership positions.

• Demonstrated capability to influence executive stakeholders and manage cross-functional global initiatives.

• Extensive knowledge of enterprise architecture and solution design.

• Proficiency in APIs, integration frameworks, event-driven architecture, distributed systems, and enterprise data architecture.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, or GCP.

• Understanding of container technologies, scalability patterns, security architecture, observability, and operational support models.

• Strong grasp of supply chain systems and integrations across ERP, MES, automation, robotics, and enterprise applications.

• Solid understanding of Blue Yonder solution architecture across Planning, Execution, Platform, and Automation portfolios.

• Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong consulting mindset with the ability to link technology strategy to measurable business outcomes.

• Experience in mentoring technical teams and promoting organizational adoption of best practices.

• Ability to navigate ambiguity, tackle complex technical challenges, and foster alignment among diverse stakeholder groups.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.

• Advanced degree is preferred.
