Principal Technical Account Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Build a strong collaborative relationship with the senior technical leadership team of the customer and become their trusted advisor.

• Assist EDB customers in maximizing the benefits of their Postgres investment.

• Support EDB customers in creating and implementing Postgres strategies.

• Offer technical leadership for the customer's significant Postgres projects, which may include solutions consulting, architectural guidance, and project management.

• Keep up-to-date with the functional and technical knowledge of the complete EDB product line.

• Deliver clear and constructive product feedback to EDB’s product management teams based on customer needs.

• Help document best practices for developing and implementing EDB solutions.

• Serve as a primary technical resource for inquiries regarding "best practices" and informal customer questions.

• Be willing to travel up to 25% of the time as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of ten (10) years of hands-on experience with Postgres, Oracle, DB2, or MS SQL Server; professional certifications in any of the relational databases are a plus.

• Advanced technical expertise, particularly in data management platforms, operating systems, cloud technologies, and technical architecture.

• Familiarity with data analytics and AI/ML concepts.

• Experience working with Kubernetes.

• Strong analytical skills related to technical and project management challenges.

• Solid understanding of the strategic sales process.

• Well-honed organizational skills with the ability to juggle competing client demands.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage and communicate effectively with CxO level personnel.

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Information Technology/Computer Science or equivalent technical training or industry experience is preferred.
