This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Hampshire, +2 more states.
• Lead extensive technical teams to fulfill intricate customer needs.
• Act as the technical authority representing the company to customers, suppliers, and CW management.
• Transform requirements into the most reliable solution possible.
• Create technical documentation that outlines CW’s solutions for both customers and the engineering team.
• Provide technical direction to cross-functional teams.
• Communicate technical status and future plans to diverse audiences.
• Suggest training programs to promote team development.
• Assess the technical capabilities and potential of individual team members and job candidates.
• Take on technical accountability for the performance of the assigned teams.
• Over 10 years of experience with US DoD Primes or a company that provides direct support to them.
• Familiarity with system hardware/software development, integration, and testing for deployed military vehicle applications.
• Outstanding problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced knowledge of systems engineering tools, including DOORS and Cameo.
• Working knowledge of Clearquest, JIRA, and Rational Development Tools.
• Proficient in operating and debugging Linux and VxWorks-based computing systems.
• Strong understanding of SOSA and VPX system design standards.
• Comprehensive knowledge of serial communication protocols such as MIL-STD-1553, RS422, RS485, RS232, 10G and 100G Gigabit Ethernet, PCIe, and USB.
• Solid grasp of the latest processing and graphics technologies.
• Excellent troubleshooting expertise in rugged computing systems.
• Capacity to lead within a team environment.
• Ability to clarify ambiguous requests or requirements effectively.
• Capability to thrive in a dynamic professional office setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
• Experience in conducting System Safety Assessments, Functional Hazard Assessments, and Failure Mode Effects Analysis is advantageous.
• Previous experience with RTCA/DO-254/DO-178 processes and FAA Certification is a plus.
