Principal Sterilization

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Puerto Rico.

📋 Description

• Develop, enhance, validate, and execute Ethylene Oxide sterilization processes in collaboration with contract sterilizers.

• Oversee communication with contract sterilizers and laboratories regarding sterilization procedures.

• Analyze and assess results against predetermined specifications and suggest necessary corrective measures.

• Assist in evaluating and implementing environmental monitoring techniques for cleanroom manufacturing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences or Engineering.

• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in EO Sterilization operations within the Medical Devices sector.

• Proficiency in both Spanish and English.

• Experience with Ethylene Oxide Sterilization Process Validations according to ISO 11135.

• Familiarity with microbiological and chemical methodologies related to EO sterilization.

• Understanding of environmental monitoring standards as per ISO 14644 guidelines.
