This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho.
• Lead the development and execution of data-driven product strategies and roadmaps that enhance the company's product offerings across various market segments and align with corporate goals while achieving market differentiation.
• Build consensus, implement, and manage best practices for product development, ensuring solutions are recognized as innovative, user-focused, and guided by measurable market insights.
• Utilize change management principles relevant to product rollouts, including communication planning, stakeholder alignment, and impact assessments.
• Oversee the product portfolio and create product roadmaps to guarantee alignment with strategic priorities, resource allocation, and return on investment (ROI).
• Act as a pivotal point of orchestration, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to guide ideation and validation through to launch, refinement, and sunset phases.
• Ensure timely and high-quality go-to-market execution by facilitating the delivery of standard tools and practices for successful adoption and execution.
• Conduct formal and/or informal market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and shape product strategy decisions.
• Stay informed about industry, marketplace, and legal developments and their implications for the business.
• Translate current and emerging market needs into product expansion, enhancement, and/or new product concepts/business cases.
• Champion the voice of the customer throughout the product lifecycle.
• Lead and/or influence stakeholder feedback sessions and support the synthesis of insights toward market-informed product initiatives.
• Develop product roadmaps based on product vision and market research.
• Foster cross-functional understanding and buy-in to product governance frameworks to ensure compliance with processes, decision quality, and repeatability.
• Collaborate with individual managers assigned to products, projects, and solutions to ensure necessary resourcing support for success.
• Demonstrate influence throughout the product lifecycle, establishing credibility across the organization and with the Executive Team as a key developer of strategic planning and execution of strategic solutions.
• Define, track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success and impact of product strategies.
• Maintain ongoing communication and pulse of functions throughout the organization as a “hub” for the successful delivery of key tactics supporting the strategy.
• Serve as the primary contact for resolving project/product resource constraints and major program issues.
• Plan and execute product launches and go-to-market strategies, including pricing models, bundling, messaging, and positioning strategies.
• Ensure successful market launch of the product that meets the target audience’s needs.
• Develop clear, structured recommendations supported by problem-solving frameworks, financial rationale, and trade-off analyses (such as build vs. buy), delivered through executive-level presentations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, healthcare, or a closely related field, or equivalent work experience, required.
• MBA is preferred.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in product management, strategy, or a related field is required.
• At least 5 years of experience in indirect influence, coaching, mentoring, and/or management is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in health plans, PBM, pharmaceuticals, TPA, health tech, healthcare delivery, or the healthcare industry is preferred.
• Experience and expertise in new product development, end-to-end product lifecycle management, project management, marketing, sales, and/or strategic planning are required.
• A proven track record of tangible success, including leadership and team collaboration, relationship-building, and management in a healthcare or related environment is required.
• Strategy consulting experience (in professional services or internal strategy), product development, private equity, banking, corporate finance, corporate strategy, or equivalent experiences is preferred.
• Familiarity with digital product development methodologies (Agile, iterative delivery, roadmap planning), even without being a technical product owner, is preferred.
• Experience working with and communicating across multiple organizational levels, including executive levels, is required.
• Demonstrated ability to operate in ambiguity, proactively identify issues, frame options, adapt or pivot as necessary, and recommend paths forward is required.
• Participation in, adherence to, and support of compliance program objectives is expected.
• Ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees is essential.
