Principal Specialist, Procurement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Oversee Supplier Relationships, Development, and Performance.

• Ensure the achievement of business factory MRP and financial objectives.

• Facilitate success in metrics such as Late to Place, Late to Dock, and Delinquent Material.

• Formulate strategies to encourage cost reduction initiatives and enhance performance, ensuring flawless supplier execution for RMD programs and projects.

• Manage subcontracting for high-value purchase orders, employing integrated supply chain models in accordance with all regulatory and corporate standards.

• Essential skills in subcontract management include the preparation of various solicitations such as RFQs, RFPs, RFIs, and IDIQ.

• Analyze bids and proposals using price and cost analysis methodologies.

• Create negotiation strategies and lead formal negotiations regarding Price, Delivery, and Terms.

• Issue Purchase Orders for high-value and complex procurement tasks.

• Conduct risk assessments and devise mitigation strategies and solutions for identified issues.

• Travel to Raytheon Technologies and supplier sites as necessary and appropriate for business operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Generally requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with 3 years of experience.

• Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS) or experience in other highly regulated sectors, including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, aerospace, aviation, power generation, or automotive.

• Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) or eligible to secure necessary export authorizations.
