This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
• Plan and execute a comprehensive cutover management strategy.
• Propel cutover progress, ensuring task completion and milestone achievements align with the overall timeline.
• Facilitate daily meetings with cross-functional thread leads.
• Assess team member workload, identify potential resource constraints, and guarantee optimal resource utilization throughout the cutover process.
• Engage in proactive risk management: identify, evaluate, mitigate, and monitor potential risks while providing real-time alerts for critical issues.
• Oversee and track the resolution of cutover issues.
• Communicate expectations clearly and foster accountability among team members.
• Address conflicts, encourage collaboration, and inspire teams to work towards shared objectives.
• Manage various cutover activities, tasks, and resources through effective organization, prioritization, and time management to achieve program goals.
• Additional duties include documentation and reporting, communication with internal stakeholders, and identifying opportunities for improvement to enhance the quality and efficiency of cutover activities.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25%-50% to major RTX US locations (Farmington, Richardson, Cedar Rapids, and Charlotte).
• Usually requires a University Degree or equivalent experience, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience OR an Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 3 years of experience OR in the absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in scheduling software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Planview, or comparable tools.
• Strong foundation in CORE or equivalent methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma or Change Management) and project management expertise.
• Familiarity with various project methodologies, including waterfall and agile Scrum approaches.
