Principal Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Client Onboarding & Integration: Assist financial institutions and fintech companies in navigating smooth onboarding and integration processes.

• Architecture & Deployment: Create secure and scalable deployment pathways that effectively connect legacy systems with modern technologies.

• Hands-On Technical Support: Diagnose and resolve technical issues while collaborating with client engineering teams in real-time to develop solutions.

• Commercial Collaboration: Work alongside sales teams to craft technical proposals, conduct product demonstrations, and develop thorough RFP responses.

• Documentation & Guides: Oversee and enhance technical documentation, API references, and developer guides continuously.

• Product Feedback Loop: Collect technical feedback from clients and convert those insights into product and API enhancements by closely collaborating with backend, security, and product teams.

• Industry Representation: Act as a representative of the technology and brand at industry events, technical workshops, and high-stakes customer meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience: A minimum of 10 years of demonstrated experience in solutions engineering, forward-deployed engineering, or enterprise integration.

• Track Record: Proven success in assisting institutions or large enterprises in deploying mission-critical, high-availability systems.

• Technical Stack: Strong expertise in TypeScript (or similar modern programming languages) with considerable hands-on experience in building and integrating REST APIs.

• Cloud & Infrastructure: In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS is mandatory; familiarity with GCP, Azure, or Thales HSM environments is highly desirable), microservices, and serverless architectures.

• Security Standards: Comprehensive understanding of enterprise security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS).

• Problem Solving: Outstanding abilities in troubleshooting complex, multi-layered technical challenges under pressure.

• Communication: Exceptional communication, presentation, and demonstration skills, with the capability to seamlessly connect technical details with business discussions.

• Domain Knowledge: A robust understanding of blockchain infrastructure, digital asset custody, and institutional financial workflows is strongly preferred.

• Pluses: Relevant professional certifications (such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are advantageous; professional fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is highly regarded.
