Principal Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee the technical design and execution of **VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)** solutions within enterprise settings.

• Take responsibility for the complete technical delivery of designated projects and workstreams.

• Install and configure VCF components such as **vSphere, vCenter, vSAN, NSX, SDDC Manager, and Aria Suite**.

• Assist in architectural and solution design decisions in partnership with Architects and Managers.

• Manage lifecycle activities, including upgrades, patching, and optimization of VCF environments.

• Develop and implement automation and Infrastructure-as-Code practices utilizing tools like PowerCLI, Terraform, and Ansible.

• Lead troubleshooting efforts and performance optimization across virtualization and cloud platforms.

• Facilitate technical workshops, design evaluations, and knowledge transfer sessions for clients and internal teams.

• Contribute to enhancements in processes, automation frameworks, and reusable deployment methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Generally **14–17+ years** of experience in IT Infrastructure / Cloud / Virtualization.

• Extensive hands-on experience in delivering VMware Cloud Foundation solutions.

• Relevant VMware certifications are highly preferred, including:

• - VMware Cloud Foundation Specialist / Architect Certification

• - VCAP / VCIX

• - VMware Certified Specialist – Cloud Foundation (latest version)

• AWS/Azure cloud certifications are advantageous.
