• Innovate & Design: Work collaboratively with Telco partners to develop, assess, prototype, and validate innovative designs and enhancement proposals.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to discover opportunities for AI integration, fostering ongoing improvements and innovation in engineering practices.
• Create architectural designs with NEP partners, promote the adoption of the latest Red Hat functionalities within these designs, and provide solution blueprints that align with Red Hat best practices for the OpenShift platform.
• Collaborate with Telco companies to expedite the containerization of their workload offerings, seamlessly integrating them with the Red Hat OpenShift platform to ensure exceptional functionality, performance, and reliability for Tier-1 and Tier-2 5G/6G networks globally.
• Actively promote robust certification and continuous integration (CI) processes with Telco partners.
• Advocate for the Red Hat Telco stack, which includes universal base images (UBI), Red Hat Enterprise Data Plane Development Kit (RHEL DPDK), the OpenShift Operator Framework, Advanced Cluster Management, and Advanced Cluster Security, among others.
• Build long-lasting technical relationships with key Telco partners, collecting and analyzing their requirements and use cases to achieve meaningful business results.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, product managers, and engineering teams to create reliable schedules for essential partner deliverables.
• Contribute to the team's overall success by openly sharing your work and expertise. Mentor and guide junior team members to nurture a culture of growth and transparency.
• Showcase the team's accomplishments through engaging blogs, website content, and impactful conference presentations.
• Over 5 years of practical experience with Kubernetes and/or OpenShift technologies.
• Exceptional Partner Management: Proven skills and experience in managing relationships with partners and customers.
• Demonstrated hands-on ability in creating reference architectures and validated configurations from inception to delivery.
• Strong background in networking technologies (server, switch, or appliance configuration), key networking protocols, tunneling technologies, switching, and routing.
• Proficient in Linux operation and administration, as well as the functioning of open-source communities.
• Proven expertise in utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs) and tools like Google Gemini, Cursor, Claude, and others for various tasks, including brainstorming solutions, conducting deep technical research, summarizing complex documentation, drafting communications, and enhancing problem-solving efficiency throughout the development lifecycle.
• Ability to quickly grasp new technologies and effectively disseminate knowledge to team members, partners, and peers.
• Comfortable providing expert support and knowledge transfer to partners as they integrate new Red Hat and open-source technologies.
• Extensive Telco-specific knowledge and experience, including: High Availability Performance characterization and optimization, NFV architecture, Edge designs, and O-RAN architecture.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Korean.
