This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.
β’ In the role of Principal Engineer / Technical Lead for the LogMeIn Resolve platform, you will influence the technical direction and architecture of the product while promoting engineering excellence across teams.
β’ Facilitate architecture discussions, evaluate RFCs, and guide decisions on scalable, secure, maintainable, and cost-effective system designs.
β’ Propel AI integration within engineering workflows and contribute to establishing an AI-first engineering culture.
β’ Assist in developing an AI-powered engineering pipeline that utilizes AI agents, intelligent automation, and Specification-Based Development (SDD).
β’ Collaborate closely with teams on cloud-native architecture, AWS best practices, reliability, security, and FinOps-aware engineering methodologies.
β’ Mentor engineers and uphold high standards in quality, scalability, observability, and developer experience.
β’ Remain informed about emerging AI trends and actively assess how new technologies can enhance engineering efficiency and drive product innovation.
β’ A robust software engineering background with experience in architectural and technical leadership.
β’ Extensive knowledge of backend systems, distributed architectures, and cloud-native development.
β’ Strong understanding of AWS, security, and cost-conscious architectural principles.
β’ Enthusiasm for AI, AI-assisted development, and the future landscape of software engineering.
β’ Experience or a keen interest in AI-driven engineering workflows, AI agents, and intelligent automation.
β’ Familiarity with Specification-Based Development (SDD) and contemporary engineering practices.
β’ Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
β’ A proactive attitude, strong sense of ownership, and a passion for tackling complex technical challenges.
