Principal Software Engineer – Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and create essential components and frameworks that act as the core elements for the Agentic AI platform.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify needs and requirements, and develop platform solutions for developers.

• Keep up-to-date with design patterns, methodologies, and technologies pertinent to platforms and frameworks.

• Work in close partnership with machine learning engineers to establish infrastructure that supports ML workflows within organizations.

• Offer production support and troubleshooting to ensure seamless platform operation and to tackle performance or scalability issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• US Citizenship or Greencard is mandatory due to US Government contract obligations.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 15 years of experience in software and platform engineering.

• Proven history of designing and managing large-scale distributed systems.

• Experience in developing platform infrastructure and backend systems that serve multiple products and engineering teams.

• Expertise in Rust, focused on designing and building high-performance systems.

• Proficiency in database architecture and scalable data systems, encompassing distributed databases, storage and indexing systems, data modeling and schema design, and high-throughput, low-latency data access patterns.

• Experience in designing systems that support AI and machine learning workloads.

• Familiarity with workflow engines, execution runtimes, and AI orchestration frameworks.

• Background in startup environments or comfort with 0→1 product development.

• Knowledge of Kubernetes is an advantage.

• Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines related to platform deployment.
