Principal Software Engineer, Healthcare AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance AI-driven healthcare platforms and distributed systems.

• Construct and refine agent-based architectures and orchestration systems.

• Create secure healthcare data infrastructures and enterprise integrations.

• Engage with systems utilizing LLMs, AI agents, reinforcement learning, and contemporary AI technologies.

• Enhance system performance, reliability, scalability, and clinical accuracy.

• Collaborate closely with founders and a highly skilled engineering team.

• Assume responsibility for technical decisions from architecture to deployment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in developing complex production-grade software systems.

• Proficient backend engineering skills, preferably with Python.

• Experience in designing scalable distributed systems.

• Capability to convert ambiguous business requirements into solid technical solutions.

• Strong skills in software architecture and systems design.

• Experience working in startup, scale-up, or rapidly growing environments.

• Comfortable working autonomously with a high degree of ownership and accountability.
