Principal Software Engineer – Healthcare AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance AI-driven healthcare platforms and distributed systems.

• Create and refine agent-based architectures and orchestration systems.

• Establish secure healthcare data infrastructure and enterprise integrations.

• Enhance system performance, reliability, scalability, and clinical accuracy.

• Work collaboratively with founders and a highly skilled engineering team.

• Assume responsibility for technical decisions from architecture to deployment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in developing complex, production-level software systems.

• Proficient backend engineering skills, preferably with Python.

• Experience in designing scalable distributed systems.

• Strong capabilities in software architecture and systems design.

• Background in startup, scale-up, or high-growth environments.

• Ability to work independently with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
