Principal Software Engineer, Healthcare AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Design and scale healthcare platforms powered by AI and distributed systems.

• Build and enhance agent-based architectures and orchestration systems.

• Develop secure data infrastructure for healthcare and enterprise integrations.

• Work on systems that utilize LLMs, AI agents, reinforcement learning, and contemporary AI technologies.

• Enhance system performance, reliability, scalability, and clinical precision.

• Collaborate closely with founders and a highly skilled engineering team.

• Take ownership of technical decisions from architecture through deployment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in building complex production-grade software systems.

• Strong backend engineering skills, preferably with Python.

• Experience in designing scalable distributed systems.

• Ability to convert vague business requirements into solid technical solutions.

• Strong skills in software architecture and systems design.

• Experience working in startup, scale-up, or high-growth settings.

• Comfortable working autonomously with a high level of ownership and accountability.
