Principal Software Engineer, Healthcare AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.

📋 Description

• Create and expand AI-driven healthcare platforms and distributed systems.

• Develop and enhance agent-based architectures and orchestration systems.

• Build secure healthcare data infrastructures and facilitate enterprise integrations.

• Engage with systems that utilize LLMs, AI agents, reinforcement learning, and contemporary AI technologies.

• Enhance system performance, reliability, scalability, and clinical precision.

• Collaborate closely with founders and a highly skilled engineering team.

• Assume responsibility for technical decisions from architecture to deployment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in developing complex production-ready software systems.

• Proficient backend engineering skills, preferably with Python.

• Proven experience in designing scalable distributed systems.

• Capability to translate ambiguous business needs into effective technical solutions.

• Strong skills in software architecture and systems design.

• Background in startup, scale-up, or high-growth settings.

• Ability to work autonomously with significant ownership and accountability.
