This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Architect, design, and develop advanced software systems with up to 100% coding involvement.
• Provide daily technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Collaborate with technology leaders to influence technology direction, manage patterns, and ensure system consistency.
• Work cross-functionally with stakeholders to align technology delivery with the organization's objectives.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts and root cause analysis to uphold system reliability.
• Engage with vendors to determine estimates, delivery schedules, and project timelines.
• Ensure the technological integrity and quality of vendor solutions across multiple projects and programs.
• Lead the delivery and provide technical guidance across a suite of applications.
• Strategize on technology optimization and modernization, focusing on reducing technical debt.
• Identify and implement process enhancements.
• Spearhead knowledge-sharing initiatives for both internal teams and vendor partners.
• Act as a subject matter expert on intricate application-environment components.
• Collaborate with architects on enterprise-level technology decisions.
• Offer high-level technical expertise for projects involving complex technology components.
• Establish best practices, reusable components, and technology guidelines.
• Lead responses to critical production incidents and pursue long-term problem resolution.
• Undertake special projects and organization-wide initiatives.
• Represent the organization in cross-functional and vendor partner environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 12–15 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 3–5 years in a senior or principal engineering role.
• Extensive coding experience with .NET Unified Platform V8 and .NET Framework 4.8.
• Experience in implementing Pub-Sub and Streaming for event-driven architectures.
• Preference for Confluent or Red Panda Kafka.
• Comprehensive knowledge of advanced software engineering principles, theories, and concepts.
• Capability to design and implement innovative solutions in line with complex organizational goals and objectives.
• Strong customer focus and ability to communicate technical concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
• In-depth knowledge of the healthcare or PBM industry is preferred.
• Extensive experience working within a vendor partnership model.
• Willingness to work outside of standard hours to meet critical project deadlines.
• Excellent mentoring and coaching abilities.
• Competence in managing multiple priorities, adapting to dynamic work environments, and meeting deadlines.
• Strong collaborative skills across multidisciplinary project teams.
• Experience in implementing innovative solutions using Java, React, or Go.
