Principal Site Reliability Engineer – Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Lead the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team both from a technical and managerial perspective, fostering the technical and career growth of engineers;

• Develop and refine the strategy for reliability, observability, and operational excellence across the products;

• Serve as the main technical authority during critical incidents, orchestrating responses and conducting root cause analyses;

• Collaborate with Architecture, Development, Security, and Product teams to drive platform evolution;

• Oversee operational rituals, incident reviews, capacity planning, and risk management;

• Promote a culture centered around automation and continuous improvement;

• Ensure the integration of SRE, DevOps, and Platform Engineering best practices;

• Assist in prioritizing technical debt and reliability initiatives in alignment with business objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in leading technical SRE, DevOps, or Platform teams;

• Proven experience as a people manager;

• Capacity to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority;

• Exceptional executive and technical communication abilities;

• Experience in managing critical incidents and crisis situations;

• Strong analytical capabilities and a commitment to data-driven decision making.
