Principal Security Field Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• In this role, you will be recognized as a security authority as you collaborate with field teams and clients to comprehend architectures, resolve concerns, and address compliance inquiries.

• Your involvement may encompass various forms, such as engaging with customers, creating scalable presentations or white papers, enabling internal teams, enhancing processes, automating tasks, or providing technical leadership.

• During calls, your presence will be genuinely valued.

• Although you may not hail from an assurance background, you will quickly familiarize yourself with prevalent security and compliance frameworks.

• You will pinpoint customer challenges and collaborate with product management and marketing to refine our offerings and messaging.

• Your contributions will also extend to internal services and automation that simplify tasks for our field personnel and clients.

• You are likely already proficient in AI productivity, but you will join a team dedicated to achieving legendary status.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of technical pre-sales or post-sales experience, where you are the key individual demystifying complex concepts.

• A strong passion for both grasping intricate security principles and architectures, as well as conveying them in an accessible manner.

• Practical experience across various security domains such as IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, network and endpoint security, web applications, vulnerability management, identity management, and SIEM—though not all are mandatory.

• Familiarity with scripting or programming, along with enthusiasm for leveraging AI to amplify our impact across a vast number of customers and employees.

• A solid understanding of the Databricks platform is a notable advantage.
