Principal Security Engineer, Detection & Response

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Oversee projects and take charge of essential deliverables within the security program.

• Collaborate with various teams across Circle.

• Actively detect and address emerging security threats.

• Establish detection and response capabilities for threats specific to blockchain and crypto.

• Create detection coverage for attacks targeting cloud-native environments.

• Offer security guidance to different departments throughout the organization.

• Participate in on-call shifts as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in detection, response, or security engineering.

• At least 3 years of experience leading security incidents.

• In-depth knowledge of cloud security within AWS environments.

• Familiarity with threats related to blockchain and crypto.

• Comprehensive understanding of SIEM, Case Management, and SOAR solutions.

• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Golang, or similar.
