Principal Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Accountable for assessing, implementing, promoting, and sustaining comprehensive security solutions to safeguard the organization's information assets across diverse platforms and environments.

• Design, validate, execute, and document security infrastructure while collaborating with various Technology groups.

• Develop and support the implementation of security controls, tools, and technologies to defend information assets against threats.

• Work alongside engineering teams to embed security within development and deployment processes.

• Formulate and execute strategies for Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions to oversee user identities, access rights, and privileges.

• Design and enforce security controls and best practices for cloud infrastructure.

• Perform security assessments, code reviews, and penetration testing to discover and address application security vulnerabilities.

• Ensure adherence to industry standards, frameworks, and regulations pertaining to information security.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in information security engineering, with a focus on identity/authentication, architecture, cloud security, and application security.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH).

• Expertise in designing security controls, assessing security tool requirements, and providing technology services.

• Comprehensive understanding of IAM solutions and protocols (e.g., LDAP, SAML, OAuth, OpenID).

• Proficiency in cloud security principles, services, and controls across major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

• In-depth knowledge of application security concepts, tools, and techniques (e.g., secure coding practices, static and dynamic application security testing).
