Principal SAS Programmer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Takes charge of programming activities independently for various objectives, including Clinical Study Reports (CSRs), Data Safety Monitoring Boards (DSMBs), interim analyses, manuscripts, and more.

• Primarily assists in statistical programming for tables, data listings, and graphs as per the Statistical Analysis Plan (SAP) for CSRs, alongside integrated summaries of safety and efficacy, ad hoc analyses, and electronic submission deliverables such as datasets, data documentation, programs, programming table of contents, and patient profiles.

• Aids in migration activities by creating the Standard Data Tabulation Model (SDTM) and producing the Analysis Data Model (ADaM).

• Tracks and ensures the achievement of assigned program milestones, while coordinating and leading a team of programmers to fulfill tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in technology, statistics, pharmaceutics, or another related science or mathematics field with at least 10 years of SAS programming experience with clinical trial data, OR a Master’s Degree in technology, statistics, pharmaceutics, or another related science or mathematics field with a minimum of 8 years of SAS programming experience with clinical trial data.

• Proficient understanding of CDISC SDTM and ADaM Implementation Guidelines.

• Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory requirements and the drug development process.

• Exceptional organizational abilities along with strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Capability to work autonomously as well as lead programming teams.

• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with peers, business partners, and Sponsors.

• Robust analytical mindset.

• Leadership skills necessary to guide the project team in delivering high-quality deliverables punctually, while collaborating directly with the Sponsor to meet project delivery expectations.

• Proficiency in English (both written and verbal) is required.
