Director, Engineering – Enterprise

📋 Description

• Define and lead the strategy and roadmap for Zapier's Enterprise Governance initiative.

• Own the organization’s technical perspective on identity, access, auditing, and policy.

• Make informed decisions regarding staffing and investment trade-offs across various initiatives.

• Oversee the technical roadmap for systems that enable enterprises to govern AI.

• Establish what constitutes safe and accountable AI-native engineering practices.

• Identify and implement AI-driven tools that enhance your teams' delivery speed and quality.

• Be accountable for the reliability of Zapier's identity, auditing, and administrative infrastructure.

• Build resilience and expertise across critical systems as the team expands.

• Collaborate closely with Sales and Customer Success teams.

• Take initiative on cross-organizational technical projects by default.

• Enhance and further strengthen the robust enterprise engineering organization.

• Ensure that managers and individual contributors have clear growth paths and the feedback necessary for improvement.
