This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Deliver strategic and best-practice human capital management (HCM) and payroll advisory by interpreting intricate client needs and crafting robust, scalable SAP solutions.
• Lead comprehensive SAP Payroll and/or Employee Central Payroll (ECP) initiatives, ensuring architectural integrity, regulatory compliance, and alignment with Australian Payroll standards.
• Redesign, document, and enhance payroll and HR business processes to promote operational efficiency and transformative outcomes.
• Oversee solution design activities, including effort estimation, gap analysis, prioritization, and the creation of implementation roadmaps.
• Manage the development and testing of solution prototypes, guide configuration across project teams, and ensure cutover readiness.
• Establish the overall testing strategy, create and review test scripts, lead execution cycles, and ensure the resolution of defects and design discrepancies.
• Direct data migration planning (including historical payroll results and infotype mapping) to guarantee a controlled and accurate transition.
• Provide high-quality training, coaching, and knowledge transfer to client stakeholders to ensure the long-term sustainability of the solution.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a pertinent field.
• Extensive, expert-level understanding of Australian Payroll legislation (STP Phase 2, Superannuation, Fair Work) and its configuration within SAP.
• Demonstrated experience leading at least 2-3 complete end-to-end SAP Payroll implementations (ECP or On-Premise) within the Australian market.
• Strong specialized knowledge in SAP HCM Payroll; experience with Employee Central Payroll (ECP) and SuccessFactors integration is highly valued but not essential.
• Proven capability to troubleshoot and design intricate payroll schemas and PCRs (Personnel Calculation Rules).
• Strong consulting presence with outstanding communication, stakeholder engagement, and workshop facilitation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex programs, juggle competing priorities, and provide leadership across multidisciplinary teams.
