πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Design protection and control systems for substations in accordance with relevant codes and client specifications.

β€’ Develop designs for protective relaying and control systems used in transmission and distribution substations.

β€’ Formulate relay protection schemes, criteria for relay settings, control philosophies, and necessary engineering calculations.

β€’ Generate equipment and material specifications for procurement, design scopes, and cost estimations.

β€’ Complete conceptual designs and layouts for protection and control in both new and existing substation facilities.

β€’ Prepare documentation to support procurement, construction, commissioning, and operation/maintenance activities.

β€’ Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, clients, vendors, and contractors.

β€’ Lead and engage in client meetings and site visits.

β€’ Ensure adherence to QA/QC processes, encompassing technical reviews and approvals of engineering design packages.

β€’ Provide mentorship and oversight for junior engineers and designers.

β€’ Review calculations, drawings, and specifications for quality assurance, consistency, and compliance.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.

β€’ Over 15 years of experience in substation protection and control design engineering.

β€’ Possession of a Professional Engineering (P.E.) License.

β€’ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

β€’ Exceptional document management and organizational abilities.

β€’ Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality.

β€’ Capability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines concurrently.

β€’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

β€’ Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment and engage professionally with clients and stakeholders.
