Principal Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Plan, implement, and manage supply chain initiatives within established scope and budget parameters.

• Establish project scope, objectives, milestones, success criteria, and cohesive project plans.

• Direct complex cross-functional projects from evaluation through to execution.

• Oversee objectives, timelines, deliverables, risks, actions, and stakeholder expectations.

• Identify process deficiencies, root causes, necessary initiatives, and opportunities for efficiency, compliance, and results enhancement.

• Create documentation for current and future processes, project plans, action trackers, and standardized best practices.

• Provide executive-level updates on project progress, milestones, risks, decisions, impacts, and forthcoming steps.

• Conduct weekly standups, monthly steering reviews, and gate approvals.

• Lead change management efforts, including stakeholder alignment, communication strategy, training, adoption tracking, and reinforcement of new processes or tools.

• Collaborate with Category Management, Procurement, SIOP, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing, APX, Logistics, Finance, IT, and other departments.

• Organize meetings, lead working sessions, and deliver presentations at the executive level.

• Gather feedback, escalate issues, document decisions, and ensure project coordination throughout its lifecycle.

• Assist in system enhancements, process automation, and reporting improvements.

• Convert business findings into insights, recommendations, and presentation-ready materials.

• Analyze operational and financial data to detect trends, risks, performance gaps, and initiative opportunities.

• Produce and maintain ad hoc reports, recurring project updates, executive summaries, and leadership presentation materials.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, project management, finance, or a related discipline; equivalent relevant experience may be accepted.

• A Master's degree is preferred.

• More than 8 years of experience in project management, business process enhancement, or change management.

• At least 2 years of experience leading supply chain projects.

• Proven track record in driving change management initiatives and overseeing scope, schedule, and project budgets across multiple sites/functions.

• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, identify risks, and implement enterprise-wide programs.

• Experience collaborating with Category Management, Supply Chain, Operations teams, Finance, and both internal and external partners.

• Familiarity with continuous improvement and process optimization practices.

• Professional certifications like PMP, Scrum Master, Lean, or similar project management certifications are being pursued or the candidate is willing to obtain them.
