Principal Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Execute all facets of the planning process, including drafting project plans and establishing scope, schedule, and cost baselines.

• Take full responsibility for the profitability of contracts.

• Adhere to departmental protocols for acquiring team members based on the project plan to ensure successful completion of tasks.

• Oversee all elements of the project, including scope, schedule, cost, risk, procurement, quality, resources, communications, and partnerships, utilizing delegates and support as necessary.

• Interpret and communicate project and contract requirements, along with any changes, to departments using an integrated change management process.

• Prepare or supervise project cost expenditure forecasts and progress evaluations, including Earned Value Management, to fulfill project performance and financial reporting needs.

• Assess project expenditures for alignment with project baselines and scope.

• Create or manage project databases and procedures to ensure efficient handling and communication of project correspondence and documentation among team members.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is required in Project Management, Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or a related technical field.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a project manager successfully leading medium to high complexity projects in the nuclear sector.

• A combination of 3 years in technical/engineering roles and 2 years as a project manager may be considered equivalent.

• Experience in Nuclear Fuels is preferred, as is familiarity with licensing in a highly regulated environment.
