Principal Project Controls Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Utilize project scheduling databases, manufacturing work management systems, and the ERP system to create and maintain project timelines.

• Facilitate schedule review meetings with project teams that include Project Managers, Engineering, and Manufacturing personnel.

• Set schedule baselines and monitor adherence to the schedule performance.

• Serve as the subject matter expert in project controls with a focus on project scheduling.

• Implement tools and techniques to plan tasks in a manner that minimizes inefficiencies and enhances overall project scheduling performance.

• Foster teamwork by maintaining and sharing project schedules, ensuring that the team, customers, and all stakeholders are kept updated on project scheduling status.

• Identify and communicate opportunities for improvement and lessons learned for future endeavors.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in project management, Engineering, Business, Accounting, Construction Management, or a related technical field.

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in the relevant functional or technical area.

• Experience with Primavera scheduling is essential.
