Principal Production Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Designing and delivering AI workflow solutions for stakeholders that are dependable, observable, secure, and easily maintainable.

• Take ownership of the reference architecture for the solution layer across various engagements.

• Spearhead the design of intricate integrations involving multiple systems and secure VPC or on-premises configurations.

• Carry out threat modeling and implement privacy-by-design principles.

• Establish and refine reference patterns for delivery shapes.

• Define production completion criteria, including telemetry, dashboards, alerts, runbooks, and rollback strategies.

• Collaborate with Core AI/Research & Platform teams to enhance module usability and integration compatibility.

• Standardize reliability patterns throughout the portfolio.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in tools/integration engineering or equivalent senior-level expertise.

• Proficient in Python (primary) with a strong preference for demonstrated leadership in integrations across diverse technology stacks (e.g., Go/TypeScript/C++).

• Proven track record of delivering and managing web applications/services with production-grade observability and reliability.

• Extensive experience with APIs/service integration, authentication/SSO, and data systems within constrained enterprise settings.

• Strong communication and influence skills across functions; capable of guiding platform and research partners towards specific interface enhancements.
