Principal Product Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Provide technical direction for Zscaler’s Zero Trust Browser offerings, taking ownership of product success and architectural strategy throughout the sales process.

• Facilitate both in-person and virtual meetings with customer executives and practitioners, including high-level overviews and in-depth technical workshops.

• Clearly communicate the advantages of browser-layer security measures, including threat monitoring, attack prevention, in-browser DLP, secure private application access, and Privileged Remote Access.

• Create technical documentation, such as best practice guides, proof-of-value test plans, demonstration materials, and reference architectures.

• Execute and assist with proof-of-value assessments, technical evaluations, and initial system deployments.

• Diagnose and resolve customer issues during evaluations and deployments in collaboration with Engineering, Support, and Customer Success teams.

• Work closely with Engineering, Product Management, and Marketing to enhance products based on customer feedback, competitive analysis, and market trends.

• Serve as a post-sales subject matter expert for Customer Success and Deployment teams to facilitate implementation, adoption, and ongoing customer satisfaction.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional experience in product management, presales, product specialization, or professional services in infrastructure technology or cybersecurity.

• Extensive technical knowledge in browser security, Zero Trust architecture, private application access, privileged access use cases, and contemporary web security controls.

• Strong grasp of Internet and security protocols, including HTTP, SSL/TLS, DNS, and secure access methodologies.

• Demonstrated success in developing technical documentation and supporting go-to-market strategies that yield successful sales results.

• Outstanding interpersonal and presentation abilities for engaging with technical practitioners and executive leaders.

• Experience in cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Operations, Product Management, and customer-facing teams.

• Preferred: In-depth hands-on experience with Zscaler products, specifically Zero Trust Browser, ZIA, ZPA, Zscaler Client Connector, and Privileged Remote Access.

• Preferred: Background in browser extensions, browser-layer telemetry, in-browser DLP, and controls that secure activities across SaaS, web, and private applications.

• Preferred: Solid understanding of secure private application access and privileged resource access scenarios in enterprise settings.

• Preferred: Comprehensive knowledge of networking concepts and modern identity and access management frameworks.
