This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Guatemala.
• Serve as the intermediary between the client’s business organization and the software delivery teams.
• Offer subject matter expertise to assist in the development and execution of business solutions.
• Lead and facilitate sessions for gathering requirements, workshops, and interviews with stakeholders to accurately capture business needs and translate them into functional design specifications, user stories, use cases, and business process flows, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
• Collaborate with product management and other cross-functional teams to manage and prioritize requirements.
• Modify requirements based on timelines, complexity, and other business drivers.
• Partner with Business and Technical teams to refine and prioritize work, ensuring effective communication and the delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Define and document business dependencies and comprehend system intricacies for all integrated platforms.
• Analyze complex business processes, pinpoint automation opportunities, and reengineer processes to enhance automation potential.
• Conduct data mapping and outline all integration aspects between platforms.
• Work alongside project managers to plan and prioritize tasks, resources, and timelines for successful project delivery, while identifying, documenting, tracking, and communicating risks, assumptions, issues, and decisions.
• Document assigned feature sets and collaborate with Quality Assurance to validate system functionality, ensuring developed features adhere to specifications.
• Lead User Acceptance Testing sessions and guarantee a successful handoff of operations for launched features.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies pertinent to the business analysis domain.
• Ability to work with a high degree of independence and initiative while adjusting daily workloads to accommodate competing business priorities, completing assignments without excessive supervision.
• Participate in status meetings and other leadership activities related to the project.
• Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 10 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or in other relevant roles.
• Familiarity with Web and Mobile-based platforms and experience working with APIs.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Proficient in creating mockups, wireframes, and prototypes.
• Experience in leading or facilitating requirement meetings during business requirement gathering sessions or design discussions.
• Knowledge of basic documentation software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
