Principal Product Manager – Growth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of Netlify's self-serve funnel as a unified product and a single metric: new self-serve ARR.

• Establish the measurement framework that supports the funnel.

• Initiate and manage an experimentation practice.

• Enhance user activation.

• Increase conversion rates.

• Develop a self-serve expansion strategy.

• Collaborate with GTM teams on the transition from product-qualified accounts to sales.

• Define the funnel roadmap, communicate the strategy to executives, and mentor other product managers as the growth practice evolves around you.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in product management, with a track record of managing a self-serve or product-led growth funnel from start to finish for a developer-oriented, usage-based, or consumption-based product.

• Expertise in growth product management, including designing experiments, leading a comprehensive experimentation practice, owning business metrics rather than individual feature sets, and leveraging product analytics to guide decisions.

• Proficiency in funnel instrumentation: attribution, event taxonomy, and cohort analysis.

• Strong understanding of in-product monetization strategies: paywalls, free-to-paid transitions, upgrade paths, and usage-based economics.

• Proven ability to drive quantifiable business results, beyond merely delivering features.

• Experience in cross-functional leadership with teams in Data, Design, Engineering, GTM, and Finance.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where you shape new practices, operating models, and workflows around a new directive.

• Preferred: experience with AI, agent, or inference funnels; familiarity with PLG-to-enterprise growth strategies; product experience with viral or referral loops; or experience creating an experimentation platform from the ground up.
