This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Develop the structure for a zero-to-one product lifecycle, encompassing initial data analysis to launch.
• Formulate user stories, product milestones, and strategic roadmaps.
• Assist product managers in drafting comprehensive PRDs.
• Collaborate with internal capital markets and investment research specialists to identify user pain points, validate product hypotheses, foster innovation, and guide prioritization.
• Connect intricate user workflows and technical execution by converting analytical requirements into data architectures.
• Collaborate with Web, Excel, and AI platform colleagues to ensure smooth data delivery.
• Work alongside Directors to oversee resource allocation, reporting, and milestone tracking for two major projects.
• Mentor and guide product managers to enhance functional excellence and cultivate high-performing product teams.
• Partner with engineers to validate solutions through customer feedback, strategic aims, market analysis, and technical viability.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and competing content to shape product and content vision.
• Engage with customers to comprehend workflows and challenges, documenting actionable insights.
• Convey complex concepts to cross-departmental collaborators to achieve alignment and support.
• Over 12 years of product management experience, including significant time in the fintech, investment research, or financial services sectors.
• Demonstrated success in managing complex products with multiple moving components.
• Capable of making challenging trade-off decisions and prioritizing development to deliver value under stringent deadlines.
• Excellent communication abilities and a strong team-oriented approach.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficient in using Notion and Linear.
• Familiarity with SQL, LLMs, or a combination for querying complex datasets, ensuring quality, and translating technical discoveries into user value is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business; an MBA or CFA designation is preferred.
