This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Assume both functional and strategic responsibility for one of the most critical areas of our platform: claims processes (Claims).
• Formulate a sustainable product strategy for the Claims sector and oversee major product initiatives from inception to completion.
• Prioritize strategic issues across several quarters while utilizing product-management techniques in a focused, data-driven manner.
• Independently carry out intricate discovery processes, encompassing user research with claims specialists, business stakeholders, and operational teams.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering on system architecture, design, interfaces, data models, and workflows.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in product management, with a significant portion in the insurance industry, preferably with a strong emphasis on claims or claims processes.
• A solid grasp of claims processes, claims handling, automation, validation rules, exception scenarios, and the operational realities of everyday insurance practices.
• Demonstrated experience in long-term product planning, making challenging prioritization choices and consciously accepting trade-offs, ideally for products generating at least €1M ARR.
• Strong comprehension of contemporary software architectures, APIs, workflows, and data models; capable of evaluating technical concepts and discussing them on equal footing with Engineering.
• Excellent proficiency in both German and English (at least C1 level) in spoken and written forms.
